Coach Kera is BY FAR the best Coach I have ever played under. I played volleyball for 12+ years and have been coached and mentored by numerous people. No one even compares to Coach Kera, period. Anyone that knows her, loves her. She is the most selfless person and Coach I have ever met. She cares about her players outside of the game. She strives for players to be their best self on and off the court.

As a parent of a former player, my daughter THRIVED for four years under Coach Kera. Coach Kera is not only an exceptional coach, but an even better human who still goes beyond to continue that support even after graduation. If I had the choice to do to send my daughter to Arkansas Tech, under Coach Kera, I would do it all over again. We love Coach Kera!!!

Kera has graduated players write letters of encouragement to the new players. They are read on a regular basis. The graduated players come back and play in the alumni games for years.

If you are a the type of player or person who thinks the rules don’t apply to you cause you are just that good or you are the type of person that is better than everyone else then coach Kera is not for you. If you are used to getting your way always and mommy and daddy have taken care of everything for you then no you won’t like tech. But if you are interested in someone who truly cares about others who ever they may be and treats people with respect then this would be a good fit. Coach Kera is extremely competitive but along with her competitiveness she is truly a caring person. She is not the type of coach that holds back from trying to teach you how to improve your game, she cares about your academics and who you are on and off the court. She wants you to be the best you can be.

Coach kera is a representation of what playing college sports should be about or should I say playing sports at any level should be about. Why has no one mentioned while posting about her teams academic success as well as her teams giving back to the community that they are in or even communities that they don’t live in. Like taking food to the homeless and raising money for people in difficult situations.

I'm a parent of an ATU VB player. I can say without a doubt that we’ve had more experience and first-hand knowledge, from a parent’s perspective, of the program since Coach Kera took over than anyone else. She is a good coach that cares about her players and their families. We’ve experienced this first-hand to a far greater extent than what we could have ever imagined; and her response was greater than what could possibly be expected. Arkansas Tech is a great university, and the school and VB program is an outstanding opportunity for young adults. It's been a joy for us to get to know the student athletes and their families. Is it easy for the athletes? No. The time, effort and struggles of a college student athlete are demanding. This isn’t high school or club VB, and every situation isn’t ideal for everyone. I’ve played volleyball for a long time and I can honestly say that Coach Kera is the best coach that I have ever had. I have never before had a coach that not only cared about me as a player but even more as a person. Since I got to Tech I have seen her go out of her way for players and their family’s- making extreme sacrifices to do so. She does everything she can to ensure that this program is a family. She has without a doubt made me a better volleyball player in my time here so far, but even more than that she has shown what it looks like to be a strong, selfless, determined leader, and I hope to take that influence with me after my time in the program. I would without a doubt recommend!

I am currently a player for coach Kera and I absolutely love the team and Tech. Yes, I would be lying if I said it was all butterflies and rainbows. But we are such a family here and that is what makes it so special. She pushes us because she believes in us more than we can ever imagine on and off the court. And she really prepares us for life after college. Love you coach ❤️

Coach Kera is the best Coach I have had in my 13 years of playing volleyball and I can say that confidently on public record, I have played with her for ALL 5 years as a collegiate athlete. She cares for you as a person, a student, and a player. Coach has been there with me through my darkest times. I could go into more detail but she never gave up on me once, and she would do that for ANY of her players. She pushes me in ways that I know I am going to succeed outside of volleyball. She has so much knowledge about the game and always helps me in areas that I personally need to improve on. She is personal and is dedicated to each player on achieving their individual goals. I will also say on public record the previous reviews about Coach are SO far from the truth and are from people who didn't buy into the program and culture of our team, all of these players have been to multiple schools and would say the same thing about the previous Coach. If that isn't a red flag, it should be because the problem is not the Coach. Previous review makers- If you take a jab at my Coach, I am not afraid to call you out on this review. Our culture that Coach has for this program is that we are a family no matter what. We care for one another, we motivate each other, and we win as one. We get treated SO well, that goes for coaching style, apparel, FOOD, team activities, and etc. WE are truly lucky to have this coaching staff that cares about us this much. I have the utmost respect for Coach Kera and her program. I hope you trust in what I am saying because I can confidently say I would not have spent my 5 years playing for anyone else.
